  • Freycinet National Park 96 Freycinet Dr Coles Bay, TAS, 7215 Australia (map)

Explore the stunning Freycinet Peninsula on Tasmania’s east coast.

This adventure will suit a small group of fit and well equipped hikers who travel well together. Participants need good pack-camping gear and recent experience to undertake a three-night hike on Freycinet Peninsula.

Explore two massive blocks of eroded granite and the sand isthmus that form the peninsula, including Mt Amos in the Hazards and Mt Graham and Mt Freycinet. Hike to the southern end of the peninsula and explore along Bryans Beach and spend a few nights by the azure water at Cooks Beach and Wineglass Bay.

Consider the trip of medium difficulty and understand that it involves some steep ascents and descents, scrambling and climbing, wading across creeks and hiking along sections of beach sand. We carry all gear, food and supplies in our packs.

A mix of awesome natural beauty, solid hiking effort and relaxing at stunning natural locations, this will be a memorable trip where you can anticipate walking about 50 kilometres.
